snippet: The City of Brockville's Soldi Wate Department is responsible for monitoring and managing all aspects of it's former landfill site. Groundwater quality is monitored 2 times per year to detect levels of VC (Vinyl Chloride) and TCE (Trichloroethylene) at various depths from 51 monitoring wells within the plume area. Levels are measured in µg/L (micrograms/Litre). The Ontario Drinking Water Quality Standard (ODWQS) maximum acceptable limit is 1 µg/L for vinyl chlorides and 5 µg/L for trichloroethylene.
